Outputs of the Syria Media Literacy Lab 2025

Within the framework of the Syria Media Literacy Lab 2025, participants produced a wide range of journalistic works addressing key political, social, and cultural developments in contemporary Syria.

The Lab brought together journalists from different regions of the country and from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds. Through their reporting and analysis, the participants examine topics such as the long-term consequences of war, challenges of reconstruction, questions of governance and social cohesion, as well as cultural life and everyday realities across Syrian society.

The contributions presented here reflect the diversity of perspectives and experiences of the participants and illustrate the important role of independent journalism in documenting and interpreting ongoing transformations in Syria.

Below is a selection of their work.
